Only a few Days

This is what my mom pointed out to me tonight on the phone.

A few days ago we left and came home. In that time, one of our dogs was killed, all of my children have become sick, I have become sick, and my tooth has fallen apart.

This conversation happened after I told her not much was new in the last few days. Sometimes I have a short memory.
