One step, One trip to the ER
Chez took a step today. She was just standing there clapping and giggling and took one step. The look of shock on her face was great.
Later this evening when I was trying to eat my supper, she started crying. Koivu was in the bathroom, she was outside of the bathroom. It didn't take me long to realize he had closed her hand in the door. I scooped her up. El came running. We both took one look at her squished little hand and off I went to the ER.
By the time we found the hospital she has stopped crying and was almost asleep. I took her in anyway. She had xrays and everything was fine. She ended up with some polysporin and advil and sent on our way.
In four years of being a mom, this was my first ever trip to the ER.

I'm glad she was ok. We've had tons of fingers smashed in doors, usually the kids are playing a little too wildly, and someone (usually always Ais) gets her hand stuck in the door. So far *knock on wood* they always look horrible but are fine. whew. Glad that Chez was ok too and WOOOOO on taking a step! That is fantastic! She is growing way too fast!
Hey I dont mean to be a pain... but uh where are the updates girl? *strumming my fingers* I'm waiting. ;)
